Nahid Afrin - Biography

Nahid Afrin is an Indian playback singer who made her debut in the 2016 Bollywood film Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. 

She first gained recognition as a singer as a participant in the 2015 edition of Indian Idol Junior.^[1] She was also seen in the reality show Little Champs North-East in 2013 where she was runner up

Nahid Afrin is from Biswanath Chariali, She is a student of Little Star Public School and her family includes her father Mr. Anwar Ansari, Her mother Mrs. Fatima Ansari and her younger brother Faiz Ansari (Golu) . She is trained in classical music in the institution of Bhatkhande Kala Kendra.

The new judges were Salim Merchant , Vishal Dadlani, Sonakshi Sinha. The show was hosted by Hussain Kuwajerwala and co hosted by Asha negi.

During the show She got a golden chance, She was offered by Sonakshi Sinha to sing as a playback singer in her upcoming movie AKIRA and later she sung a song RAJJ RAJJ KE with Vishal Dadlani for Sonakshi sinha. which was awesome and well appreciated by all her fans.That was her Bollywood debut as playback singer female in bolywood music industry.
